
In 2008, Harvey E. Yates Company, a subsidiary of
HEYCO Energy Group, Inc., and Nadel and Gussman, Permian, formed a
Joint Venture, Nadel and Gussman HEYCO, LLC (“NGH”). NGH operates 155
wells in southeastern New Mexico, with 2008 production totaling over
640,000 BOE’s. NGH primarily operates in Hidalgo, Lea, Eddy, Chaves,
and Roosevelt counties.
Harvey E. Yates Company, based in Roswell, was
founded in 1969 by pioneer oil man and wildcatter, Harvey E. Yates.
The company’s historic focus has been on the Bone Springs and Morrow
formations. In addition to its interest in the NGH Joint Venture,
Harvey E. Yates Company holds non-operated interests in 352 wells.
Total gross acres held in southeastern New Mexico equals almost
50,000.
