is a private US holding company with
subsidiaries and affiliates active in upstream oil and gas
operations in the United States and in Europe and North Africa
onshore. HEYCO Energy Group is owned by members of the Yates family
of Southeastern New Mexico who has been active in the upstream oil
and gas business since the 1920’s.
Vision
To find and profitably
develop oil and gas reserves on a global scale through mastery of
the art, as well as the science, of successful exploration.
Strategy
To create large economic returns on capital employed (through the
sale of oil and gas production and reserves) by acquiring high
potential oil and gas leases and licenses and applying creativity,
appropriate technical processes, management, and capital in onshore
basins in the US and internationally in countries that carry little
political risk and have internal markets for natural gas
Central Resources
Our core resources are technical knowledge and management
experience applied by a team with specific technical skills in
geology, geophysics, reservoir engineering, land management,
international negotiation, drilling and production, and operations
management. Other core resources include oil and gas reserves and
mineral leases or licenses covering over 1.7 million gross acres in
core project areas in the Permian Basin and East Texas in the United
States and in Spain, the UK, and Morocco.
Businesses
HEYCO Energy Group has three main subsidiaries, Harvey E. Yates
Company (HEYCO), based in Roswell, NM, Rosetta Energy Partners, and
HEYCO International based in Dallas, Texas. These companies manage
conventional and unconventional oil and gas exploration,
exploitation, development projects and production operations in
different geographic areas but share common management, technical
support and core service functions.
Organization
A common technical team is tasked to initiate projects in the
three subsidiary companies. All accounting, land and records
management, and back office functions are centralized. Uniform
planning and control systems are used for each subsidiary and the
holding company.
